The Beauty Edit

A weekly roundup by Triple Eight Creative

This week’s theme: Take action. No matter how messy it feels.

I finally kicked off The Leo Edit, and it’s giving exactly what it needed to. It feels nostalgic, experimental, chaotic (in the best way), and full of that hot bold Leo energy I’ve been sitting on for too long.

This isn’t just a campaign. It’s a reminder that everything I’ve been building, the glam, the experience, the founder voice, is finally starting to click.

And yes, I hesitated before launching. Not because I didn’t believe in the vision, but because I kept waiting to feel “more ready.” If you’re reading this, here’s your nudge: You don’t need to be perfect. You need to be visible. That’s the only way the people who need your work will find it.

Highlights From this week

The Leo Edit dropped.

MySignature Glam styles got the MySpace treatment. Product recs, playlists, throwback vibes, the whole edit is live on the site and on IG. Catch the carousels, take the quiz, and join the glam era that feels like you.

The Inner Circle is growing.

The Founding 100 campaign is in motion, and the names rolling in already make this feel real real.

Inner Circle members are the first to get product links, booking perks, and behind-the-scenes founder notes, because the way we do beauty? It’s personal.

Posted my first Sunday Edit.

A new weekly rhythm. Like a journal entry, a business tip, and a soft accountability check-in all in one. If you missed it, catch up on IG.

Beauty Business & Industry Watch:

The global Black haircare market is projected to reach $4.6 billion by 2032.

This isn’t niche. It’s the influence.

Rebundle secured a patent as the first US-based plant-based extension brand.

Innovative. Sustainable. Black-led. Enough said.

Beauty x Sports is trending.

But let’s be clear, women have always been in this space. We lift, we train, we sweat, we show up. Brands are just catching up.

What I Tried This Week (and Loved):

💛 Tower 28 x Toni Bravo

This blush drop is a moment. It’s colorful without being chaotic. Intentional, inclusive, and actually made for us. I’m grabbing both shades this week, stay tuned for the verdict.

🧡 EADEM gloss

One try and I’m hooked. The formula is fire, but it’s the campaign visuals and storytelling for me. This is the kind of brand I want in every Triple Eight beauty kit.

U Beauty Super Tinted Hydrator

Lightweight, skin-first, and gives just enough tint. Perfect for summer skin days that need a little something but not everything.

🍑 Fwee Blurry Pudding (lip + cheek)

A Leo name if I’ve ever heard one. It blends like a dream and gives that soft diffused pop that looks lived-in, not painted on.

💛 MAC Chromaline Pencil in Chrome Yellow (only at MAC Pro Soho)

The Wild Card approved pop of color. This pencil is it. And if you want more options, MAC’s Colour Excess Gel Liners are the ones to grab. They glide on like butter and stay put.

This Week’s Reminder:

You don’t need another strategy doc. You need momentum.

Post the link. Send the email. Walk into the hotel. Book the class.

You are the strategy.

Until next week,
