The Beauty Edit: Winter Is Coming

How Triple Eight Creative is showing up beautifully this season, through intention, consistency, and community.

The Visibility Era

“Showing up beautifully isn’t about perfection — it’s about presence.”

Mayor Mandami

If Mandami’s campaign taught us anything, it’s that showing up beautifully isn’t about timing; it’s about intention.

Showing up for your audience matters just as much as showing up for yourself. Major Mandami gave a masterclass in that, not just through marketing, but through meaning.

At Triple Eight Creative, that’s our foundation: intentional visibility. We don’t just post content — we create moments. Every campaign, class, and edit connects back to one truth: helping people show up beautifully.

“Visibility is the new currency.”

The people and brands showing up IRL are the ones building trust and connection. It’s not about being everywhere; it’s about being present and consistent.

Inside Triple Eight Creative, that presence flows through everything:

Authenticity isn’t oversharing; it’s alignment. Show up for your brand the way you want people to show up for you.

The Teen Vogue Shift

Teen Vogue

When I heard that Teen Vogue was ending, it felt like a chapter was closing for a generation that learned about culture and confidence from those glossy pages.

When Elaine Welteroth and later Lindsey Peoples took the reins, they reminded us that beauty and politics can coexist, that identity is always worth printing.

That same energy lives inside Studio Eight.

It’s not just a content hub, it’s the new
creative house for beauty, culture, and business.

A space where we talk about artistry, entrepreneurship, and evolution in the same sentence.

Industry Spotlight: Vera Hair Co

Building for Stylists, by Stylists.

nyc extension tour

Last Sunday, I attended a class with Vera Hair Co where they introduced their new K-Tip extensions, and left reminded what innovation looks like when you show up for your audience.

Founder Maeghan built her business for stylists who deserve more ease and intention. From a pro concierge system to streamlined ordering, every touchpoint feels well thought out—even the texture match is flawless.

It’s the same standard we hold with Room + Suite 888: effortless luxury that actually serves the artist.

That’s the future of the beauty business: less performative glamour, more purpose.

Honesty Moment

“Winter is coming, and this time, we’re ready.”

Real talk: my past seasonal edits were strong on concept but fell short in execution — not because the vision wasn’t clear, but because doing it alone is hard.

But that’s shifting. I’m rebuilding systems, expanding support, and giving myself permission to grow sustainably.

Triple Eight Creative was never meant to be a solo act, it’s a movement powered by community, collaboration, and creativity.
