Pool to Plans → The Beauty Layer

Hospitality Partnership · Summer 2026

What began as Pool to Plans, a guest-ready beauty concept built around the transition from daytime plans into New York evenings, is evolving into The Beauty Layer at ModernHaus.

Triple Eight Creative is developing beauty support within the hotel guest journey, creating easier access to getting-ready services, beauty refreshes, personalized guidance, and product discovery without requiring guests to leave the hospitality experience.

MAC Cosmetics

Beauty Education + Product Experience

Triple Eight Creative has collaborated with MAC Soho across beauty education, product discovery, and live experiences, continuing a relationship that began during founder Chardé Smith-Anglin's more than 20-year career in beauty.

During an early Signature Glam and Char experience, 9 of 13 participants made purchases, demonstrating how personalized beauty guidance can translate discovery into confident purchasing decisions.

The Cool Down Club

Beauty, wellness, and hospitality for the moments between plans.

The Cool Down Club is a Triple Eight Creative hospitality experience designed around the moments when guests need to refresh, reset, and get ready for what comes next.

Through beauty touch-ups, wellness, personalized product discovery, and guest-ready support, the concept creates a Beauty Layer inside the spaces where people are already gathering, traveling, celebrating, and spending their time.

Mr. Purple

Lower East Side, NYC · Summer 2026

The Cool Down Club brought Triple Eight Creative's Beauty Layer into the rooftop hospitality experience at Mr. Purple, creating a beauty and refresh moment designed around summer in New York and the transition between daytime plans and the rest of the evening.

T8C extended The Cool Down Club into the energy surrounding the World Cup, using beauty, refresh, and guest experience at The Tiny Cupbard inn Brooklyn as a way to support people moving through one of the summer's biggest cultural and social moments.

ModernHaus | Pool to Plans

SoHo, NYC · Summer 2026

At ModernHaus, The Cool Down Club evolves through Pool to Plans, a hospitality beauty and wellness experience built around one of summer's most familiar transitions: moving from the pool, heat, travel, and daytime plans into dinner, drinks, events, and evenings in New York.

From The Cool Down Club to The Beauty Layer
Various toiletries and travel accessories on a wooden surface, including bottles of MAC skincare products, a visual magazine titled 'Preferred Travel Summer Vibes,' a gold ornate mirror, and a pack of pink wet wipes.

The Cool Down Club became a testing ground for a larger Triple Eight Creative idea: beauty should not be another thing guests have to leave the hospitality experience to figure out.

Through our ModernHaus partnership, that thinking is expanding beyond seasonal activations and into The Beauty Layer, creating easier pathways to beauty services and getting-ready support within the hotel guest journey.

NYFW is the next visibility moment for the model, supporting guests as they move between meetings, shows, dinners, events, and evenings throughout New York.

Building a Business That Works With You

Chardé Smith-Anglin joins Sole Heir Society's Project Hour for a founder-led conversation on building a business around the way you actually work. Drawing from the development of Triple Eight Creative, she shares how she transformed a naturally nonlinear working style into a structured business ecosystem, using AI, defined departments, and repeatable systems to create greater clarity and room to scale.

The session explores how founders and professionals can use AI as a working partner without outsourcing their judgment, build systems that reflect their own strengths, and create businesses that do not require them to personally direct every moving part.
