Not Just a Break: The Beginning of Something Bigger
How do you move forward when you don’t feel like yourself anymore?
For a long time, I didn’t have the answer. I just knew something felt off.
I wasn’t creating like I used to. I wasn’t dreaming. I wasn’t showing up for myself.
And even though everything on the outside looked fine, I felt disconnected from who I was.
So, I stepped back.
I took a break from the hustle, from the constant output, from trying to hold it all together. What started as time off became a necessary pause. I got serious about therapy. I started unraveling the pressure I had internalized for years. I gave myself space to breathe, cry, laugh, and rest.
And in that stillness, something shifted.
Not all at once. Not perfectly. But honestly.
I realized that what I missed most was creating with purpose, not just glam for the sake of glam, but experiences that meant something. Stories told through beauty. Culture is woven into every detail. Moments that linger long after the makeup comes off.
That’s what I’ve been quietly working on.
Not just a business, but a return to joy.
A return to self.
This isn’t a launch post. Not yet.
But it is a thank you for being here, for seeing me, and for allowing me to reconnect with myself and create something that feels true.
I’m not fully back yet, but I’m close.
And when I am, I hope what I’ve built speaks to more than just beauty.
I hope it reminds you that it’s okay to pause. To rebuild. To glow again.
See you soon.
